May 1 2012 is known in St Lucia as Labour Day.Labor Day this is a holiday for all the workers in St. Lucia to recognize the important role we all play in national development. The day is characterized by lots of Union activity
It is a day which stated with the workers  movement  advocating : eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
